The Federal Government of Pakistan has recently announced a revision in petrol prices that will be effective from May 16, 2023, until May 31, 2023. In this latest update, the government has decided to decrease the prices of all petroleum products, which include petrol, high-speed diesel (HSD), kerosene, and light diesel oil (LDO) for the first half of May 2023.

As per the latest announcement, the petrol price in Pakistan has witnessed a decrease of Rs. 12.00 per litre. Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been slashed by Rs. 30.00 per litre. Additionally, both kerosene and light diesel oil (LDO) have also seen a reduction of Rs. 12.00 per litre.

Following these adjustments, the current petrol price in Pakistan stands at Rs. 270.00 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been revised to Rs. 258.00 per litre. Moreover, the price of kerosene oil will now be Rs. 164.07 per litre, and light diesel oil (LDO) will be available at Rs. 152.68 per litre.
