The Services, General Administration & Coordination Department has just released a notification today, April 27th, 2023 regarding the upcoming holiday on May 1st, 2023 which is Labour Day in Sindh province. Hey Pakistanis, we’ve got some news for you! The government of Sindh has announced a public holiday across the province in honour of Labour Day. This means that all public offices and institutions will be closed on May 1st, 2023.

Labour Day is celebrated annually on May 1st throughout the country, and the government of Sindh has declared this day a public holiday for 2023. So, if you work for the government, please note that all offices will be closed on Monday, May 1st, 2023.
In relation to Labour Day, all autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the Sindh government will also not be functioning on this day. Please note that only essential services will be available, so plan accordingly.
