Shab-e-Qadr, also known as the night of power, will be observed nationwide tonight, with believers seeking forgiveness from Allah.

Additionally, the federal government has announced a five-day holiday for Eid ul Fitr, from April 21 to 25, affecting government, semi-government, private organizations, factories, banks, and educational institutions, as per a statement from the interior ministry.
Ramadan 2023 started on March 23, after confusion during the moonsighting meeting, and the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is set to meet on April 20 to sight the Eid ul Fitr crescent moon, according to a statement from the religious affairs ministry.

The meeting will be held at the religious affairs ministry in Islamabad, presided over by Ruet-e-Halal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, with zonal committee meetings taking place at designated locations across the country.
