Free Textbooks Distributes to Students of 36 District of Punjab by Govt

During the recent Eid holidays, the Punjab School Education Department launched an initiative to provide free textbooks to students from grade 1 to matriculation(Class 10th) in public schools in Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jhelum, and other districts. This move was made following the removal of the Urdu medium system from government schools.

The aim was to ensure that all students, irrespective of their financial background, have access to educational resources. By offering free textbooks, a significant number of students in the region will benefit, and education in English-medium institutions will receive a boost.
