Petitions to File against MDCAT & Merit Formula 2022

Earlier, a student filed a petition in Peshawar High Court (PHC) against the MDCAT examination conducted by ETEA after which PHC stopped MDCAT results. Now, a group of students has filed a petition in Peshawar High Court against the merit formula decided by Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) in which 40% weightage is taken for complete FSC marks. While the students demand that 40% weightage must be given to the marks of FSC elective subjects only.

Today, the President of Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) spoke to Geo news and told that all the questions were from the syllabus and no University included any question in the MDCAT examination which is outside the syllabus.

The MDCAT paper was tough though and the students have been given marks for the mistakes in the answer keys. Despite many mistakes in MDCAT, there are two questions that are clearly wrong in the answer keys issued by the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore which has been proved in this video.
