Punjab Offers Free Laptops and Driving Licenses to Kashmiri Students for Education

Breaking news from the Province: Interim Chief Minister, Mr. Mohsin Naqvi, has made a monumental decision to abolish tuition fees for Kashmiri students studying in educational institutions in Punjab. Not only that, but these students will also receive free laptops to enhance their digital skills. The traffic police will also provide them with driving licenses, making it easier for them to travel and pursue their studies. This initiative is expected to benefit about 200 students.

A group of Kashmiri students recently met with the interim Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude for this show of support for the Kashmiri community Bise AJK.

The Chief Minister’s office has also instructed the Punjab Bank to set up accounts for these students to assist with their financial management.

Additionally, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has taken action to eliminate the daily ticket policy in the Province. He has directed that there should be no limit for daily tickets and has ordered the traffic police offices to operate in two shifts for the convenience of people obtaining their driving licenses.
