Pakistan Earthquake 2023 Predictions: Frank Hoogerbeets, a Dutch researcher, accurately predicted the devastating earthquake in Turkiye-Syria, and now rumors are spreading on social media of a potential earthquake(Zalzala) in South Asia, including Pakistan, India, and other countries.

But don’t worry, the director of the Pakistan Metrological Department has dismissed these rumors and predictions of an earthquake in Pakistan. In a statement to a local TV channel, the PMD director explained that the fault lines in Pakistan are not similar to those in Turkiye and Syria.

According to the official, there is no scientific evidence to support earthquake predictions. Pakistan has its own advanced monitoring system that is closely monitoring the aftershocks in Turkiye and Syria.
It’s important to note that a significant portion of Pakistan’s population lives along a fault line and the country has experienced a significant loss of life from earthquakes in 2005 and 2013. The PMD director emphasized that the country is keeping a close eye on any potential seismic activity.

Tragically, the number of casualties in Turkiye and Syria has continued to rise and the death toll has now surpassed 5,000.

In response, the Pakistan Army has taken action to aid in relief efforts. On Tuesday, following instructions from the Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, the Army dispatched two Urban Search and Rescue Teams.
These teams are comprised of highly trained rescue experts, sniffer dogs, medical personnel, army physicians, nursing staff, technicians, and a mobile hospital with 30 beds. The Pakistan Army is working tirelessly to help those in need in the wake of this disaster.
