The Tekken World Tour 2022 recently ended with 24 players competing, some of whom earned their spot through the Regional Finals and others through the Last Chance Qualifiers. This marked the first Tekken World Tour in three years and could be one of the last offline tournaments for Tekken 7.

Atif Butt was crowned the champion of the Tekken World Tour 2022, winning $50,000 of the $100,000 grand prize. He dominated the final match against JeonDDing, maintaining his undefeated record in the tournament.

Throughout the competition, Atif established himself as a top contender with his string of victories. He secured his place in the Finals Bracket by topping his group in the preliminary stage.

Arsalan Ash, on the other hand, was a surprising disappointment, failing to advance to the Finals Bracket after losing three out of five games in the Group Stage.

Despite falling behind 0-2 against Chikurin in the Winners Finals, Atif staged a remarkable comeback to secure a 3-2 victory. He then swept JeonDDing 3-0 in the Grand Finals, earning the title of World Champion.

Bandai Namco has announced the start of the Tekken World Tour 2023, kicking off on March 31, 2023. The first stop will be at EVO Japan 2023, hosted at Tokyo Big Sight from March 31 to April 2. EVO Japan will serve as the first of several major tournaments that will be part of the Tekken World Tour 2023.
