Who Will be the Next Chief Justice of Pakistan in 2023? This year, we will see the retirement of one judge from the Supreme Court and one from the Lahore High Court (LHC). Additionally, 12 district and session judges from various district courts nationwide will be retiring. It’s worth noting that the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), Justice Umar Ata Bandial, will be retiring on September 16, 2023, as he has reached the age of 65.

Following his retirement, Justice Qazi Faez Isa will take over as Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) on September 17, 2023.
