The provincial administration in Sindh has announced that schools and colleges in the region will be closed on April 12 to observe Yom-e-Ali, a significant occasion.
The School Education and Literacy Department, along with the College Education Department, have issued an official notification declaring a public holiday for all public and private educational institutions under their administration.
The notification highlights that this decision is in line with the Steering Committee meeting and that the closure is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12, 2022, which corresponds to the 21st of Ramzan, 1444, to mark Youm-e-Ali.

Officials have put in place stringent security arrangements for Yom-e-Ali, with the main procession in the provincial capital set to start from Nishtar Park and conclude at Imambargah Hussainia Kharadar.
