History of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar
Lal Shahbaz Qalandar was born in 1177 in Marwand, Afghanistan, and was a disciple of the famous Sufi saint, Hazrat Shaikh Usman Marvandi. He is believed to have traveled to many countries, including Iran, Iraq, and Syria, to spread the message of Islam and Sufism. He finally settled in Sehwan Sharif, where he lived until his death in 1274. Over the centuries, his shrine has become a place of pilgrimage for followers of Sufism, and his Urs is celebrated annually to commemorate his life and teachings.
