Punjab Govt announces holiday in Rawalpindi Schools Colleges and Universities on 17 September 2022.
Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi District has issued a notification for a public holiday in all educational institutes including schools, colleges & universities in Rawalpindi.
In the letter, it is said that all Educational Institutes i.e. Universities, Colleges & Schools (Government as well as Private) situated within Municipal limits of Tehsil Rawalpindi excluding Cantonment areas shall remain closed on 17.09.2022 (Saturday) due to Chehlum Procession.
Note: This holiday is for tehsil Rawalpindi but Cantt areas will remain open.
