COMSATS Professor Khair ul Bashar Controversial English Paper: COMSATS University Islamabad is receiving a lot of criticism because of a very disturbing question that was asked to students during a quiz.
The question was given to first-semester Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEE) students and it required them to write an essay about incestuous relations between a brother and sister.

Nearly a month later in January, the Ministry of Science and Technology ordered an inquiry against the content of the quiz after the Minister took serious notice of the matter.
The Minister expressed strong disapproval of the quiz’s content, stating that it was not only highly inappropriate but also violated the educational laws of the country. Additionally, the Minister urged the Rector of COMSATS University Islamabad to take serious action against the lecturer responsible for including such offensive material in the quiz.
Following the letter from the Ministry, COMSATS University Islamabad terminated the contract of Khair-ul-Bashar, Lecturer (Visiting Faculty). The university also blacklisted him for future employment.
