The Federal govt salary increase 2022 notification has been issued. This increase in Govt Salary 2022 in new Budget of Pakistan 2022-23. GOVT Salary Increase 2022
Allied parties of govt advised that there should be 10 to 20pc increase in salaries of govt employees but govt is thinking on no increase plan.
According to the Dunya News report published in Daily Dunya Newspaper on 29, May 2022 Pay and pension committee decisions are pending and delayed till 30 June 2022.
Revised Pay Scale 2022 and Adhoc Relief Allowances
Currently, the employees are receiving the following Ahoce Relief Allowances. GOVT Salary Increase 2022 will issue soon
- 2016 @ 10% (Frozen)
- 2017 @ 10% (on running basic pay)
- 2018 @ 10% (on running basic pay)
- 2019 @ 10% (BPS-01 to BPS-16) and 5% (BPS-16 & above) (on running basic pay)
- 2021 @ 10% (on running basic pay)
At the same time, there has been no revision in the pay scales over the last five years. So, the GOVT Salary Increase 2022 employees demand to revise the pay scale and merge the five Adhoc reliefs into the basic pay. Thus, according to the employees’ demand, the government should announce the revised pay scale 2022 in July 2022.
Pension increments
Pensioners are the most affected category who didn’t receive any benefits for a long time. The government employees get the allowances and benefits/reliefs, but pensioners don’t receive any. Thus, pensioners are facing mots difficult time. Now, the government should take steps for the pensioners and announce to increase their pensions up to 20-30% in the Budget 2022-23.

Budget 2022 expectations Pakistan
This budget plan describes how much employee’s expected salaries and Pensions increase in 2022. Then Government make upcoming budget according to some policies by which employee’s salaries increase in this year.
The government has decided to increase salaries of Federal employees in the range of 15 to 20 percent with a clear-cut purpose to reduce disparity within ministries divisions and departments and introduction of contributory pension for new recruitments during the budget 2022.
The Pay and Pension Commission has submitted its report to the Ministry of Finance and The government has taken decision to grant a raise in salaries of public sector employees with the purpose to reduce disparity. Within the bureaucracy such as public sector employees working into PM and President Secretariat, NAB, FBR, FIA and judiciary are getting double salaries but other employees are facing difficulties. The government may grant 15 to 20 percent raise depending on available resource in the coming budget” said the official.
