One paper MCQ type Written Test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration comprising questions on General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (Ethics for NonMuslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Every-day Science, and Basic Computer Studies.
Literacy Mobilizer Job Description
- Prepare village profiles highlighting all the facilities in the area.
- Identify Out of School Children in the areas.
- Prepare a list of all OOSCs in the areas with their names, ages, parents’ names and contact details.
- Convince parents to enroll children in schools (NFS/ government schools).
- Establish Village Education Committee (VEC) and make sure that mothers are part of the committee. If female participation is not possible with males then establish separate Female Education Committees (FEC).
- Identify the best space for Non Formal Schools (NFS) and establish NFS in the localities.
- Identify the best teacher for NFS.
- Coordinate with the team for the provision of all supplies
- Coordinate with the team for orientation and training of teachers.
- Coordinate regularly with teachers for the smooth functioning of NFS.
- Observe a class and provide support to the teacher in teaching.
