NA 33 Election Result 2022. Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf (PTI) has won the by-polls in NA-33 Hangu by-polls, according to the unofficial and unconfirmed results, ARY News reported on Sunday.

According to unofficial and unconfirmed results from all the polling stations in NA-33 Hangu, PTI candidate Nadeem Khan secured 21,583 votes, while JUI-F’s Mufi Ubaidullah remained second with 17,153 voes.

  • Polling started at 8am and continued until 5pm uninterrupted.
  • Five candidates, including one each from PTI, ANP and JUI-F and two independents, contested by-poll.
  • 210 polling stations set up in constituency with 110 sensitive and 77 highly sensitive stations.

It may be noted that in 2018, PTI won the seat with a lead of 800 votes and in 2022 by-NA 33 Election Result 2022, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf grabbed the seat with a lead of almost 4,500 votes.

Over 0.314 million people are exercising their right to vote and five candidates are contesting in the by-election on NA-33, the seat which fell vacant after the demise of PTI MNA Haji Khayal Zaman in February.

The candidates are Saeed Umar of Awami National Party (ANP), Obaidullah of JUI-F, Nadeem Khan of PTI and Atiq Ahmed and Muhammad Saeed, who are running as independent candidates.

A spokesperson of the ECP said 210 polling stations, including 55 for women only and 91 combined for both men and women, have been set up for the poll.

The polling for the vacant seat of NA-33 Hangu that started at 8 am concluded at 5 pm without any break.

The seat got vacated following the death of PTI MNA Khayal Zaman.

The ECP said that 210 polling stations were established for the by-poll. The ECP setup 64 polling stations for men and 55 polling stations for women. 110 polling stations were declared sensitive while 77 were declared highly sensitive.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja had warned that no interference in the polling process would be tolerated and strict action would be taken against the violators.
