A notification has been issued stating that mobile phone and internet services will be partially suspended in several cities across the country on 9 and 10 Muharram. The Punjab Home Department has announced the deployment of the army and Rangers in 13 sensitive districts, including Gujranwala, Gujrat, Jhang, Bhakkar, Layyah, Sahiwal, Chakwal, Rajanpur, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan.
