Dera Ismail Khan (Daily Pakistan Online) The results of re-polling in 13 districts of the first phase of local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are continuing to come out. In Dera Ismail Khan, PTI candidate Umar Amin Gandapur, brother of Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, has won the city mayoral seat.
According to private TV SAMAA, the results of 170 out of 302 polling stations in the mayoral election in Dera Ismail Khan have come to light. According to unconfirmed and unofficial results, Omar Amin Gandapur of PTI is leading with 22,688 votes. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami candidate Kafil Nizami is second with 17,645 votes while PPP’s Faisal Karim Kundi is third with 8,975 votes.
