PEC Online Website was used to generate papers, which were then checked randomly in schools to ensure transparency in results and marking. As a result, the results cards and reports cards are now available for students.
On March 31, 2023, all government schools in Punjab will distribute PEC Result Cards to students in Grades 1 to 8. Before this change, only PEC Exams for 5th and 8th grades were conducted, and the official results were issued by the PEC website.
However, due to Covid, the system has been modified and now all schools are instructed to conduct their own PEC Exams using papers generated by PEC. The papers are then marked in other schools.
The timeline for the SBA also includes a date for the preparation and distribution of report cards. These report cards will be based on the student’s grades, and feedback will be provided to parents about their child’s performance.

The Punjab School Education Department has directed all CEOs of Punjab Education Authorities to ask all heads of institutions under their jurisdiction to organize school-level functions for the distribution of report cards. Students, parents, and school council members should be invited to these functions. Additionally, all CEOs, DEOs, DER DEOs, and AEOs are requested to arrange functions in at least one school under their leadership in the district, tehsil, and Markaz levels to distribute report cards. The results of SBA 2023 should be widely publicized and all stakeholders should be invited to these functions.
