  Concluding, y% = y/100
  
  Thus, 30% of a number is equal to 12.6
  
  Representing individual terms in the form of a mathematical expressions ,
  
  30% = 30/100 Of = y
  
  Number = y
  
  Combining all, the mathematical equations, we get –
  
  = (30/100) x y = 12.6
  
  = 0.3y = 12.6
  
  y = 12.6/0.3
  
  y = 42
