Muharram Ka Chand Kab Dikhega 2023 or also known as Moon Sighting Pakistan. The crescent for the first Islamic month has not been seen throughout Pakistan. As a result, the first day of Muharram-ul-Haram will occur on Thursday, July 20, while Youm-e-Ashura will be observed on July 29.

Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, the chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, made this announcement after a meeting held in Quetta. The purpose of the meeting was to sight the crescent for Muharram-ul-Haram, which corresponds to the year 1445 Hijri.

The Ruet Chairman stated that the Ruet members did not receive any evidence of moon sighting across the country. Various officials, including those from the Advertisement Central Ruet members, Zonal Committee, Ministries of Religious Affairs, Science and Technology, and SUPARCO, attended the meeting.

Earlier, the Meteorological Office had mentioned the possibility of sighting the Muharram moon in Pakistan on Tuesday. The office predicted that the new moon would be visible at 11:32 PM on July 17, Monday.

In preparation for the Holy Month of Muharram, local authorities have planned strict measures for mourning processions and the locations of Majalis. Their aim is to finalize security arrangements and maintain law and order throughout the district. Top officials have issued necessary instructions to ensure foolproof security and maintain a peaceful environment during this sacred month.
