What is Registration for MDCAT 2022?

MDCAT will be hosted in 11 locations across Europe, America, Asia, and Australia, according to PMC Vice President Ali Raza.

“Registration for MDCAT 2022 will be held in the Gulf countries, China, and Malaysia in Asia. We are still in the consultation phase; therefore, advertisements in this regard will be released next week, and students are advised to wait,” he said.

Moreover, the commission also established a policy for the formation of provincial MDCAT committees by the competent federal and provincial administrations in each province and territory.

The provincial committees will be comprised of three members, two from public medical universities and one from a private medical university, whom the provincial government will elect.

The MDCAT committees will assess the curriculum, recommend any revisions to the National Medical and Dental Academic Board, and suggest a question bank for the MDCAT exam. The goal is to ensure transparency and ownership by involving all stakeholders.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Medical and Dental Council, which was chaired by PMC President Dr Arshad Taqi.

Furthermore, the PMC recommended the closure of Mohammad Medical College Peshawar on the suggestion of the disciplinary committee, following multiple incidences of illegal admissions and seeking donations from students. However, the students will be allocated to other colleges.
