Punjab Govt Announces Eid Salary For Employees 2023 Notification PDF: The Punjab government announced on Friday that they will be paying salaries and pensions to all current and retiring employees in advance on 17 April, ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
The decision was made by the Punjab Finance Department, which issued a notification confirming the early payments. This move is expected to benefit thousands of government employees who rely on their paychecks and pensions to prepare for Eid. It’s worth noting that Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to fall on 21 or 22 April across the country.

The proposed dates for the Eid holidays, 20 to 23 April if Eid falls on 21 April, and 20 to 24 April if Eid is celebrated on 22 April, will be forwarded by the Cabinet division to the Prime Minister for approval soon.
